Christopher Bessette, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Chris received his veterinary degree from Ross University and completed his clinical training at Auburn University. He began his career at a busy hospital in Southern California where he specialized in companion animal medicine.

In 2019, he moved back home to Bradenton with his wife Danielle to help continue the family business.

Interests outside of veterinary medicine include traveling, reading, cooking, camping, hiking, and beach-going.

Mark Bessette, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Mark Bessette received his veterinary degree from Louisiana State University in 1986 and established Southeast Animal Clinic in 1993. He is married to his wife and business partner Cindy, who manages the practice. Together, they have four children: Lindsay, Katy, Christopher, and Zachary, all who have worked with their dad to ensure that the practice is a success. ​

Interests outside of veterinary medicine include tennis, poker, kayak fishing, and Tampa Bay Lightning hockey.
